Overview
Classes in groups are offered through the Make S.P.A.C.E. Studio and Workshop and private lessons at our studio.
Workshops are one-day or multi-day events that occur throughout the year. Registration is first-come-first-serve.
Workshop registration muse be completed 1 week (5 business days) in advance of workshop date.

6 Week Wheel Throwing Lessons
This group class meets weekly on Monday nights at Make S.P.A.C.E. Studio and Workshop. Each class consists of 1 hour of instruction and guided practice time followed by independent practice time. This class may be general skills acquisition or student directed to focus on desired techniques. Check out the link below for the next available class.

Hand-Building Class
Following the same format as the wheel throwing class this class is focused on hand-building techniques. This class teaches transferable skills to use at home for those without regular access to a potter’s wheel.

Single Session Wheel Throwing Lessons
This quick intro session includes ample direct instruction via “team-throwing” and will produce an artwork you can keep! This class is perfect for parent-child lessons, friend’s night, or couple’s date-night.

Hand Building With Local Clay Workshop
This is an intro level, one-day, hands-on, step-by-step workshop on hand building methods and techniques using locally dug clay and local temper.
Whats Included:
1 Ball of locally dug clay
Selection of organic and inorganic temper.
1 Bisque firing.

Pit Firing Workshop
This two-day, step-by-step workshop on pit firing methods and techniques will guide students through the logic of site preparation, design techniques for pit firing, and how to manage a fire for optimal results.
